Just in time

I have never been one to really wait.  If I have a gift for someone, on the rare occasion I give a gift, I like to hand it  to the person right then.  I enjoy things on a timetable.  If it lasts longer than I think it should, I get frustrated.

I have learned that God has a sense of timing.  In 2 Peter, the verse makes reference to "a day to the LORD is like a thousand years."  So even though  I like to hurry, God has his timetable.

Just a few things struck me.
-Was not sure if going to be married?  Married to a wonderful woman.
-Not sure about children?  Two great girls.
-Needed a bigger vehicle?  A van was provided.
-What to do with my life?  Still being revealed.

I think that the answers to prayers are "Ok" and "Not right now."  Both if you think about it are pretty good when there is someone who really cares about you and knows all your needs.
