Speaking with competence

I am sure that you know people who even when they are wrong seem right.  Or people who even when they are right seem wrong.

It comes down to confidence.  The ability to promote an idea and stand behind it.  I am not so great at that.  Is it because I do not want to share my opinion in fear of offending someone or being wrong?  Is it general competence?

Most of the time as I talk I feel that I  ramble.  I might say the same thing multiple times.  It is not one and done with me.  Or my voice sounds like I am raising a question when making a statement so I am not being clear.  I will look back on a conversation I had and think to myself, "That person things I am incompetent."

It comes to a matter of belief in what is being said.  If something said is wrong, then the person will be corrected.  Most of the time people will listen to what is being said.  They want to hear it or they would not have asked.  Remember I said most of the time.

It is okay to speak out.  To have confidence in what is said.  You know what you are talking about, hopefully?
