Time for a time change

Hello to all you clock watchers

Over the weekend we were able to participate in daylight savings time. Since it is spring, nearly, it was time to spring forward. That means we get to move the clock ahead one hour. Most people see it as losing an hour, especially since it happens at 2 am Saturday morning. I wonder what is special about 2 am that it is the hour the time always moves forward or backward. So if you went to bed late, you lost an hour of sleep.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could manipulate time when we wanted? We could move the hour forward or backward. It would be nice to move time forward when we are at work to the end of the day. Or backward if there is something we enjoyed. I guess we somewhat can with our televisions, through DVR or TIVO.

This weekend went by in a blur. I must have been trying to store up sleep. I woke up Saturday morning during my usual hour, but then went right back to sleep. I slept off and on during the day. I took a nap in the morning, a nap in the afternoon, and a nap at night. Then went to bed. Sunday I also rested.

This will be a busy week professionally and personally. At work we are having staff week, with a bunch of meetings and I have large mailings to go out. Then this weekend it seems that everyone we know has asked us to do something.

Do we get rollover minutes? I guess that is what the snooze button is for.
