Greetings crybabies.
Well the nursery is a few steps closer to being completed. Now we just need the baby. That will be a few moths though.
Wendy's parents came into town with the crib in the truck. Wendy's dad and I put together the crib. It only took us a little bit of time. However, it took longer than I thought. We had to turn around a few things, but it is up now. Her dad also hung up the valance in Joy's room.
If putting together things for the baby is this hard now then I am in trouble. I know the toys and things only get more completed. Hopefully the dad gene will come through when I am a dad. It seems that most dads know how to fix everything and moms give the best advice.
Who knows what kind of father I will be? Only Joy will know in about 30 or more years.
Oh yeah, we did lunch at K&S cafeteria. It was good. I was the only one who did not get turkey and dressing. Then I went with Wendy's dad to a train store. He loves model trains. That store was expensive. I saw model trains for about 300 dollars. They will choo-choo through your money. Wendy and her mom went shopping. Wendy's mom bought us a mattress for the crib. Now the crib has the mattress and the bedding set is in the crib.
Joy we are ready. Well, for the most part.
