Hurry up and wait

I spend today hoping what comes tomorrow was there yesterday.

For most that know me, know that I like to do most things right then.  If I know something  is coming in three weeks my mind thinks it should be that week.  I like to joke that if it cannot be done in two minutes, is it worth doing?

A lot of times I go through life doing things simply to get them done.  Then I have to wait for the next thing.  I try to do something and then when it is over, I think now what?  However, as I type this I think that in some things I wait to hurry up.  There are things that I put off or I want the easy outcome.  To be honest I have never had to work hard in my life.  I would say the hard times in my life have not been a struggle, but more stupidity.

I guess the thing to do is do what needs to be done.  The speed is up to the person.  The timing is up to God and events.
