Tis the Seizein

Well all you good little boys and girls, do you know what time it is? That is right. It is early November so that means Christmas shopping! What you may ask-are we finished with the six months of Halloween. Sure, we have been properly sugar keyed up and are ready for that card swiping, cash carrying, sale hunting, and jingle all the way to the bank.
Some of you may say what happened to Thanksgiving? Ah I say, you have to have it to be thankful. Thanksgiving is only good for people to remember who is in their family. "Oh right, I have a brother...he can get me something." Thanksgiving is also a time to eat so much and build those calories to spend. Thanksgiving is a buildup to Christmas.
I think that salespeople urge you to get gifts so far in advance so you will forget what you got. Think about it, you have a gift six months out and want to hide it. Problem, you hid it too well or forget about it. Then the rush comes and wham you are caught in the sea of shoppers.
I know that Thanksgiving is fast approaching. So you can get in your shopping. For all you novices check out the deals at the grocery store.
Celebrate now and then. Eat, drink, and be Mary. Of course unless your name is something else.
"I'm thankful that my friends like to shop."
