I'm not loving it

Greetings to those after the chocolate high.

Well the weekend is over. Why do the so called long weekends pass by the fastest? It seems like it was just Friday. I do not even remember doing anything over the weekend. The hard part about traveling over the weekend is that part of the weekend is taken up by getting to and from your destination. Then you have to acclimate yourself back to your house. Oh well, one day at a time.

Speaking of traveling, Wendy and I went to McDonald's twice over the weekend. Technically three times. Each time it was crowded. I was shocked. The first time we could not even get in the parking lot since the drive thru line was so long. Wendy and I agreed it was not worth the wait. The next McDonald's had a long line also, but it went quickly. This was lunch Friday. Then Saturday morning since we were out and about with Wendy's parents we went to Happy Meal land for breakfast. As we pulled in the parking lot it was crowded. It did thin out as we were there. I guess everyone was traveling and wanted something quick. I heard Wendy's mom say they are getting rid of Ronald McDonald. I think someone joked over the weekend and said people were sending their condolences.

Wendy and I came back to Cary down I40 probably at a bad time. It was Sunday afternoon. Of course traffic was bad. It always seems bad. Although it did not take too much longer to get home than normal. I guess it looked worse than it was. It was annoying to me because traffic would stall and then take off. I guess it was people trying to access I40. I saw a guy with Tennessee plates get cut off about five times. That was annoying to me.

I am surprised at how many cars just have one person in them. What a waste of cars. I am guilty of traveling by myself most of the time. I believe in highway reform. Why not make people travel together if on the highway. It would decrease the level of traffic. If people had to start riding together I would invest in deodorant stock. I don't think people will give up their car to ride with others.

I guess it is all about riding in style. Better than riding in anger.
