Greetings people who are out there

This morning as I was walking Rustey a little after 6 am, I saw two deer this time. They were standing around and when they saw us they leaped away. Now if I see three tomorrow I am definitely going to think something is up.

I had not seen so many frogs in awhile. It seems like at least 10 are hopping around. I know we have had some rain in the past. I guess now with the heat they are looking for whatever they can find. Wendy spotted a tree frog last night clinging to the window. It was hanging around, literally, and trying to catch some dinner on the fly. I think it was able to gnab a gnat on the go.

This morning when I arrived at work, my supervisor told me we had a dead bird out front. Apparently it flew into one of the windows. I have heard they do that occasionally and we have had deaths like this in the past. So we got a shovel and let it fly to its final resting place.

Nature is out there. Sometimes in here too.
